Random File Tester
Summary: A lightweight command line program that will attempt to open a random file located under the specified directory or in any of it's sub-directories.
Purpose: As Systems Administrator, I keep track of backups, and am charged with testing those backups regularly. Many recording files are kept on external drives, and with the small file size and large media size, testing a random sampling if .mp3 files is neccesarry. This program was written to allow a truly random sample to be tested in a much more automated process.
